Community Guidelines
Freeparty is meant to be expressive, social, and usable. These guidelines explain the kind of behavior we expect and the kind of conduct that can lead to moderation action.
Respect people
- Do not harass, threaten, dogpile, or target people with abuse.
- Do not encourage self-harm, violence, or real-world harm.
- Do not use slurs or dehumanizing attacks against people or groups.
Do not manipulate or deceive
- No spam, scams, phishing, or fake engagement schemes.
- No impersonation meant to confuse or defraud others.
- No coordinated abuse or attempts to game trust and safety systems.
Post responsibly
- Use content warnings or labels honestly when needed.
- Do not post illegal, exploitative, or clearly harmful material.
- Do not share private or sensitive information without permission.
Respect boundaries
- If someone blocks you, do not try to get around it.
- Do not evade mutes, restrictions, or moderation actions.
- Do not create alternate accounts to continue abuse.
Moderation flow
Most enforcement follows this pattern, adjusted for severity and repeat behavior:
- Low-severity spam/noise: warning, visibility limits, temporary posting limits.
- Harassment or targeted abuse: content removal, temporary suspension, stricter restrictions.
- Threats, severe abuse, or illegal behavior: immediate suspension or permanent removal.
- Ban evasion or repeated abuse: permanent account and related-account enforcement.
How to report
Report harmful behavior in good faith with context (links, usernames, timestamps). Abusive or knowingly false reporting may also result in moderation action.
These guidelines are not exhaustive. We may take action on behavior that clearly harms the platform, its users, or its safety systems even if it is not listed word-for-word here.
