Freeparty

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-04-19 · Last updated: 2026-04-19 · Version 1.1

Freeparty collects and processes information needed to operate the platform, protect accounts, enforce policies, and improve reliability.

1. Information we collect

2. How we use information

3. Cookies and session data

Freeparty uses essential cookies/session tokens for sign-in, security, and feature continuity. We may also store local browser preferences (for example, theme or accessibility settings). For end-to-end private messages, device-local key material may also be stored by the browser. If cookies/local storage are cleared and the active DM/PM keys for that device are removed, encrypted message content on that device may become unrecoverable.

4. How information is shared

Public profile information and content you choose to publish may be visible to other users and visitors. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users, or to maintain the security and integrity of the platform.

5. Data retention

6. Your controls and requests

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect user information, but no service can guarantee absolute security. You are also responsible for keeping your credentials safe.

8. Children and minors

Freeparty is not intended for users below the minimum age required by applicable law in their jurisdiction. Additional controls and restrictions may apply to minors where required. Where available, minor-account parental controls can require guardian email verification and guardian approval before protected privacy/content settings are changed.

9. Cross-border processing

Depending on where infrastructure is hosted, data may be processed in jurisdictions different from your own, subject to applicable legal safeguards.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of Freeparty after the effective date of an updated policy means the revised policy applies going forward.

11. Account deactivation and deletion retention
